| How to best say this...100th post!!! XD And for the special occasion, I thought I'd bring you some art. These were done on Sunday, and will actually be a sereis of pictures. Some of you might remember the motive from one of the scetches I posted some time ago, but I really liked the idea, so this is what I came up with. Both pieces are done with aquarellic colors on special paper. 17x24cm each. The white parts were done by adding salt onto some parts of the picture when the color hadn't yet dried. The figures of the dancers were added afterwards with aquarellic crayons. Explosions of Sound - Series.   Also, I finally managed to get the intro post for a new thread over at Tellius finished and posted. So there hopefully will be more writing soon. | I just couldn't resist. When I read an entry over at the Fire Emblem community advertising a new RP, my first thoughts were somewhere along the lines of 'OMG, I've been looking for a FE-RP all over!!!' But then I started to consider. For one, it isn't a RP based on livejournal or insanejournal but a Board-RP. The problem is, I'm at a total loss when it comes to things like that. I mostly find it confusing. But in the end I just couldn't help myself. Even if I like The sacred stones better than PoR and RD... I briefly talked with one of the admins via aim last night, and she seems to be really nice. Helped me with some questions I had etc. So I've submitted my character profile. So ,from now on I'll be playing Shinon over at Tellius. The actual RP is set one year after the events of Path of Radiance and two years before Radiant Dawn. So we have lots of freedom to plot. There are still a lot of free characters to claim, but I think we are gaining members quickly. | |

Another thing I did while staying at my aunt's place, was going through hundreds of RP-Ads. Because I have no experience whatover, I was looking for a small community. With an interesting plot/theme.
As it turned out, I stop reading most fandoms halfway through or don't know them to begin with. This list includes but is not limited to: Naruto, Bleach, Harry Potter, Twilight...
So I can't really play in a fandom comms. And most of the AUs were composed of several fandoms with lots of players already participating.
RPs are mostly composed of a horror/survival themes wherein your choosen character wakes up without knowing how he/she got to where-ever he/she is now. There also are tons of Vampire/Lycans/Supernatural (not the TV Series) ones out there. So I clicked myself through over 200 Ads. And there was only really one who caught my eye.
It reminds me of a mixture of Ghost in the Shell, Fainal Fantasy VII's Shinra firm and something else.

So while I had internet access at my aunt's, the internet browser didn't really work too well. So that left me with enough time to plot and create my first very own RP character.
I spent quiet some time flashing out his profile and even wrote a short oneshot of about 800 words to get a feeling for the character.
And on Friday evening I finally gathered the courage to post my application. And it got accepted! I had to do some minor revisions on the profile - setting it at odds with the oneshot I wrote - though.
So far we are 5 players, me included, with a total of 9 characters.
I already talked to two of them via AIM - which I downloaded for the purpose of RPing. I also started a thread with one of the mods, which I think is nearly finished at over 3000 words. ^___^
And it's this kind of awesome and makes my head spin.
At first I wrote everything down on my collegeblock, then typing it up in Word and copying/pasting it to the comm. It also took me quiet some time to do that. But I think I've already gotten faster. And mostly write directly in word.
